Savannah Keith Gress

Savannah (she/her/hers) has spent her career contributing to the fight against racial injustice and other forms of oppression in education.

Prior to joining Kindred, Savannah served as the executive director of a teacher training organization in Rwanda, a Baltimore City Public School data manager, and as an English-as-a-foreign-language teacher in Ecuador. Most recently, Savannah completed Harvard’s Strategic Data Project Fellowship while at CityBridge Education. There she led the organization’s evaluation strategy and collaborated with new school founders to refine their organizational learning strategies in order to heighten their effectiveness.

Savannah graduated from the University of Mississippi with undergraduate degrees in International Development and French. She holds a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Savannah recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she loves exploring nature and her new city with her two children and partner.
