Kenya Hall (she/her/hers) joins Kindred after spending nine years in workforce development programming dedicated to serving those from historically excluded groups and communities. Passionate about ensuring programming is a true benefit to the community, she has created and worked with programs that have trained young adults to become medical assistants, electronic health records specialists, and nurse aids in the City of Philadelphia. She later moved to the Washington Metropolitan Area in 2019 and began working for Per Scholas as the Director, Student Experience for the Silver Spring campus and later as the Director, Technical Instruction for the Remote Training Team. In both roles, she had the pleasure of partnering with the instructional staff to find ways to improve the classroom experience for enrolled learners. This included assessing classroom engagement, curriculum delivery, and staff professional development needs. In addition, as a Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland, working part-time as a therapist, Kenya has worked as Field Instructor for social work interns.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, Kenya lives in Maryland. She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
