Monica is an Organizational Development Consultant and Executive Coach whose mission is to develop and expand the capacity of leaders to positively impact schools, organizations, and society. She holds 25 years of experience in education and senior leadership. Her years as a high school English teacher, assistant principal, principal, nonprofit and state-level leader, and, CEO, has helped to mold her perception about the powerful influence that effective leaders have in shaping the worlds of those they lead. She currently works with partners and clients on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy, Leadership Development, Mission Alignment and Impact, Strategic Planning and Workplace Wellness.
She holds an Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University, and earned her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Regent University. She is a graduate of Norfolk State University, where she obtained a BA in English. Monica also holds a Certification in Workplace Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion from the University of South Florida. She is the proud mom of an adult daughter, teen son, and miniature poodle and based in the DC Metropolitan Area.
