Jason Andrean (he/him) is a Vice President of the Government Contractor Banking Group for Capital One Bank. In this role, he structures innovative M&A financing solutions to meet the needs of businesses engaged in contracting with the federal government. Jason is a former chair of the DC Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington where, under his leadership, the organization increased revenue and drastically narrowed the spending deficit leading to more quality services. As a board member of the DC Children & Youth Investment Trust in its final months, he was instrumental in uncovering mismanagement, ultimately preserving public tax dollars designated for out-of-school time programs. Since 2016, he has served as Chairman of Achievement Prep Public Charter School, where he leads efforts to serve nearly 1,000 kids and their families, east of the river. In addition, he has served on several non-profit boards including Democrats for Education Reform, Sitar Arts Center, and N Street Village. In 2018, Jason’s professional and civic success earned him recognition as a “40 Under 40” leader by the Washington Business Journal. Jason is a graduate of Georgetown University where he studied Change Management and Finance. He is the son of Jamaican immigrants and resides in Washington, DC.
