Alison Auerbach
Alison (she/her) has spent her entire career in the field of education including two decades of leadership experience in both traditional and charter DC public schools. Alison’s work in schools has focused primarily on dual language education and working to create more equitable experiences for diverse learners and caregivers. Alison now continues this work as a consultant with area schools and nonprofits. Alison was a New Leaders Resident Principal at Stokes PCS and then served as DC Bilingual PCS’s Founding Principal, a school leader at Bancroft Elementary School, and Director of Language Learning at DC International School.
Alison earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Trinity College and a master’s degree in elementary education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University. Alison grew up in the DC area and currently lives in Northeast DC with her husband and two teens.
